TMS Therapy for Depression Tinton Falls NJ

The TMS Center of New Jersey provides NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy treatment for Depression.

NeuroStar Advanced Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is a groundbreaking, non-surgical, and non-invasive treatment that is revolutionizing mental health care for clinical depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and anxious depression.

Adults and adolescent patients with these conditions who have been unable to ease their symptoms with medication or psychotherapy may achieve symptomatic relief with NeuroStar.

The TMS Center of NJ was established in 2010. TMS therapy is FDA approved for treating Major Depressive Disorder, and offers a non-invasive, alternative for managing depression. NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy provides our patients with often times dramatic relief from the despair of depression.

TMS stands for transcranial magnetic stimulation. It is used to treat depression by stimulating the brain non-invasively using electromagnetic fields, similar to those produced by an MRI machine. During TMS Therapy, a magnetic field is administered in very short pulses to the part of the brain that research has demonstrated to be associated with depression. The typical initial course of treatment is about 19-37 minutes daily over 5-7 weeks.

Our vast experience ensures that the care you will get at The TMS Center of New Jersey is second to none.

Services TMS Therapy for Depression Tinton Falls NJ

At The TMS Center of New Jersey, we help individuals safely and effectively overcome depression through non-invasive, FDA-approved care. TMS therapy offers a non-invasive, effective alternative for managing depression.

The NeuroStar Advanced TMS Therapy system uses short pulses of magnetic fields to stimulate the area of the brain that is thought to function abnormally in patients with depression. The magnetic field produces an electric current in the brain that stimulates the brain cells (neurons). This results in changes that are thought to be beneficial in the treatment of depression.

At The TMS Center of New Jersey, we specialize in helping patients regain control of their mental health with personalized, evidence-based care.

Medication Management:
In addition to TMS Therapy, we still provide more traditional psychiatric treatment including medication management and psychotherapy. This allows our providers to treat a wide range of mental health disorders including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD and many others using a variety of approaches.
Our highly trained and compassionate staff are here to guide you through your mental health journey. We offer both in-person and virtual visits. Our providers will complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation and custom tailor a treatment plan that is both safe and effective for each individual.”
