Dr Vishal Khatri, MD Board Certified Spine Surgeon – Freehold NJ
Specializing in Complex & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Dr. Khatri is a board-certified spine surgeon at Alliance Orthopedics in Freehold, Old Bridge, Bloomfield and Randolph, NJ. Dr. Khatri began his career at Cooper Bone & Joint Institute, situated within Cooper University Hospital, Southern New Jersey’s only Level 1 academic trauma center, and affiliated with MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Khatri has extensive experience in a broad range of surgical procedures, from simple to complex, owing to this affiliation. He is particularly interested in degenerative spinal conditions, minimally invasive spine surgery, spine injuries in athletes, spinal tumors, traumatic injuries to the spine, and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) pathways for quicker postoperative recovery.
“I believe in a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive approach to spine care. I work very closely with internists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, radiologists, physiatrists, therapists and pediatricians to ensure the best patient care. All avenues for alternatives to surgery are explored before surgery is considered. No two patients are the same, so I focus on an individualized, patient-centric treatment plan. If surgery is necessary, I use the most effective and safe techniques that allow for an optimal recovery. In spine surgery, less is more. Minimally invasive techniques allow for rapid pain relief and a swift recovery.”Dr. Khatri
