Dr. Peter Perno has joined Beyer Eye Associates as a comprehensive optometrist. He will be providing primary eyecare, including management of ocular disease and pathology, contact lens exams, and co-management of pre/post surgical care.  He also provides specialized contact lens fitting in the management of corneal disorders and progression of myopia using corneal reshaping therapy.

About Dr. Peter Perno Optometrist:

Dr Peter Perno was born and raised in Medford, NJ.  He received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 2010.  During his time at Purdue, he was part of a research team that studied anatomy and development of avian visual systems furthering his interest in eyecare.  Following graduation, Dr. Perno attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where he received clinical honors during his pediatric and ocular disease rotations.  Upon completion of his doctorate in 2016, he then continued his education with the New England College of Optometry, completing a residency in ocular disease with the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Dr. Perno currently resides in Medford, New Jersey.  Some of his interests include outdoor recreational activities and traveling.
