New U Physical Therapy Freehold NJ
New U Physical Therapy is a modern and newly equipped facility founded by Dr. Boris Polonskiy in 2008. Freehold NJ is the newest of the 4 locations, providing one-on-one physical therapy treatment by licensed physical therapists. New U approach combines hands on manual therapy, joint mobilization, massage, and therapeutic exercises.
Prior to establishing his own practice Dr. Polonskiy worked in a large medical center in Brooklyn as a physical therapy supervisor for a period of two years. Later he went on to work in NYC in a similar center as a director of Physical Therapy department. At that point he established his own private practice in Staten Island and now has 4 locations throughout the NY-NJ region. Dr Polonskiy believes working on his own has allowed him to provide unique one-on-one treatment for every patient. In 2020 Dr. Boris and Dr. Tim teamed up to provide the highest standard of care in the Freehold location.
Dr. Rubanyuk qualified as physical therapist in 2016, after graduating from Touro College of Manhattan with a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Prior to joining forces with Dr. Polonskiy, he managed a rehabilitation department at a surgical center in Staten Island, NY, focusing on sports injury and post-operative recovery, as well as various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Dr. Rubanyuk is passionate about helping h patients and frequently pursues continuing medical education to increase his knowledge and skills, as he sees learning as a lifelong process.
One of the main aspects of our treatment philosophy that separates us from other clinics is the emphasis we place on the manual component of treatment. While guided and progressive strengthening exercises, joint mobility work, as well as postural awareness, are fundamental cornerstones of any successful rehab program — in addition to that we provide a thorough therapeutic massage as part of every treatment session to facilitate speedier recovery. We have the newest modalities available on the market, such as cold laser, pressotherapy, and shockwave. We treat adults and children. We own a pregnancy table, where women can get relief in a most comfortable position, even at the end stages of pregnancy.
Dr. Polonskiy’s experience includes 4 years of working as a Personal Trainer in Bally Total Fitness prior to attending physical therapy school.
