It is our goal to create a home away from home for our community where you can relax and recharge. Lotus Health and Wellness Spa is your space. A place where you can come to reconnect with the true Self, the space within you that is ever calm and peaceful. This space exists within each of us. We merely need to connect with it. At Lotus Health And Wellness, we offer you this space so that you may strengthen and recharge the body, relax the mind, and reconnect to the peace within. Our hope is that you can take the peace with you, off your mat and into the rest of your life and the world effecting change one person at a time.


CLASS SCHEDULE

Mondays 8:30 – 9:30 AM Level 1 Back to Basics

This class is for EVERYONE Both the seasoned yogi looking to hone their practice and the beginner.

This 6 week exploration will include:

Breath instruction and Pranayama practices
Correct aliment of postures for your body
Focusing awareness on how a posture feels and its effects on the body and mind

Wednesday 7:30 – 9:00 PM All Levels Restore & Relax

This class begins with a gentle flow designed to release tension and settles in to longer held restorative postures and a final extended relaxation.

This 6 week exploration will include:

Opportunities to recognize hidden tension our body stores
Ways to ease and release physical and emotional stress
A baseline of relaxation and presence for the students to connect with and tap into both on and off the mat

Friday 8:30 – 9:30 AM All Levels 1/2 Strength and Patience

This journey is designed to test your patience with yourself. Tapas (discipline) and ishvara pranidhyana (surrender) are two of the eight limbs of yoga. Using these two limbs to focus our awareness, find our edge and our patience with it.

This series will challenge you to:

Play with the edge of your ability
Strengthen the body
Practice patience and compassion with yourself


Meet Lacy Marrucca

Lacy began practicing yoga in 1998 and became a teacher in 2012. She is a Yoga Alliance registered E- RYT 500 and a Continuing Education provider (YACEP).

Lacy believes that we are all students and our yoga practice is really the practice of getting to know yourself. To truly meet yourself, as you are, in this moment, is this body and with this mind; is an endless practice and a beautiful journey. In our world of non-stop, busy, busy, yoga helps us to first disconnect and then teaches us to truly connect, first with ourselves and then with each other.

Lacy’s classes are a moving meditation, Utilizing the breath and the body’s alignment our our anchor, we simultaneously strengthen the body and ground ourselves into the present moment. We use the breath and body as tools, to help us quiet the chattering mind and move into stillness and our true selves.
